With the arrival of Kate Allison slowly approaching, I find myself looking back at old photos of Allie when she was small. The I look at Isabelle and see how tiny she is, but that she won't be so tiny soon. I wanted to share a few photos of them both over the last few months. Allie loves Izzie and always wants to hold her and feed her. I hope she loves Kate this much!

Adventures in Babysitting...Izzy
Brooke and Shaun missed their one-year anniversary on February 2nd cause she was in the hospital. So nearly a month later, they decide to venture out to dinner to celebrate. And I got the first babysitting job. Well, it wasn't an easy thing to get let me tell you. I had to fight my mom for it!
I was excited to see how Allie would really react to another baby in the house, one that would surely require all of my attention at some point. I also wanted to see how I would handle everything. It went really really well! Allie was quite the helper and delighted to do anything I asked her to.
Ben stole her from me pretty quickly. He's a baby hog.

The arrival of Isabelle Dru
Isabelle Dru Morvant (a.k.a.--Izzie) was born on February 5th at 8:18 a.m. She weighed 5 pounds, 8.8 ounces and was 19.25 inches long.

We arrived at the hospital at 7:00 a.m., where my poor sister had been on bedrest there for almost a month. I took the very last belly shot....

Allie wished her Nanny good luck.

Brooke's nurse and my dad.

Waiting for Isabelle: A day in the life of Brooke and Shaun
Unfortunately, my sister is having some problems late in her pregnancy. It started with gestationtal diabetes, now she has high blood pressure. Dr. Lawler admitted her to the hospital yesterday, January 12th. It was supposed to be a day or two, but it looks like she is stuck until Isabelle makes her appearance.
An ultrasound revealed that she is around 4 pounds and 14 ounces. So we are hoping she bakes a little longer.
So what does one do in a hospital room all day long? I headed over there on my lunch break today to see for myself. It was a very interesting hour and a half. Here is my experience, in pictures of course.
First things first, Brooke updated her MySpace and Facebook (important stuff).
Shaun did a little dance for us.

Then he had to go potty.
Then, just as we were wondering what we would do next...someone dropped off a hospital survey!

We decided that I would be the one to fill it out. Yay for me!

So I began the survey... but it got kind of boring so I quit. Maybe on my next visit I will finish it up.

This is what they were doing when I left. Something tells me they will be doing this a lot.

Hang in there sis, it will all be worth it!
